Position the extender; install both bolts with lock and flat washers.
Tighten bolts firmly. Attach safety chains.

Position the extender; install both bolts with lock and flat washers.
Tighten bolts firmly. Attach safety chains.

| 2. Position the Hitch Box. Confirm that the tailgate will open. If necessary, slide the Hitch Box back tothe next set of holes. On vehicles with exhaust that point to the rear rather than down, confirm that the Hitch Box DOES NOT RESTRICT THE EXHAUST FLOW. |

| 3. Install the Hitch pin. Install both bolts with lock and flat washers. Tighten bolts firmly. |

| 4. Confirm that the safety chains are attached and the box is securely attached. Load your gear and lock with a key or combination lock or both. |
