The Hitch Box is constructed of 1/8" thick 3003 Brite aluminum tread plate.
All fasteners in the box are stainless steel. The lid support is stain
less steel.

When you buy a HITCH BOX you get everything you need, the box, the Extender,
safety changes, two hitch pins and four bolts with washers and lock washers.

The Extender used to mount the Hitch Box is structural steel tubing. Attachment
bolts are Grade #5.

There will be open holes in the channel in the bottom of the box, but
because of their location, grit, road dirt and water are not drawn into
the box.

The license plate of your vehicle may be obscured by the Hitch Box. The
box is pre-drilled to accept your license plate and hardware is provided.

The installation takes a few minutes. All hardware is provided. The only
thing you need is a wrench to tighten the bolts.

To preserve the shine of your Hitch Box, polish it with commercially available
aluminum polish.
